Requests are coming in regarding visits to the Joining in Light Silent Devotional Center. We will move in May 3. If you feel to come to provide volunteer support for setting up the Center, or want to consider a visit, more about the Center contact us. The Center is devoted to the recognition and celebration of the Light within with devotional visits that include a volunteering for selfless service Karma Yoga.
One helpful means to the recognition of true identity, divine nature, is Karma Yoga. Karma yoga or Seva is selfless service, meaning service for the whole without expectation to meet personal needs and desires. This is the natural yoga of life and an opportunity to experience being in flow– the full expression of divinity in harmony with fellow devotees – which the ego resists. During seva we aim to give and live free from ego identity and intention. It is helpful to consider seva to be in direct service to Love, the opportunity for forgiveness/Satsang and in full devotion to the Sangha- the family of community members who, like you, are devoted to truth. It is a powerful opportunity to celebrate all that is given by Love in devotion to recognizing only infinite unconditional Love as identity.
