Cay Villars brings a rare combination of deep spiritual clarity and a practical understanding of how the ego (subconscious content/desires) generates pain and suffering.  Before devoting herself to principles of spiritual awakening and ACIM-based miracle mindedness training, she spent years immersed in personal development and transformational coaching, working both in corporate environments and for over ten years as a Trainer with Anthony Robbins Companies. During that time, she worked directly with individuals in high-intensity emotional states through programs such as Date with Destiny, Unleash the Power Within, and Life Mastery.

The Voice began coaching her while she was volunteering in Prisons.

She later deepened this work through volunteer service inside prison environments, coaching men and women facing some of the most extreme emotional and behavioral patterns human beings encounter. Her work addressed addiction-related behaviors, violent and anger patterns, fear, crisis reactions, and long-standing trauma-like emotional cycles. The impact of her prison classes was so significant that the head of Social Services expanded the program to include men in drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

While working in prisons, she began to hear a guiding Voice, a Voice she now knows to be Jesus. These experiences gave her a profound understanding of the mechanisms of fear, the undoing of false beliefs, the structure of false identity, and subconscious content  — and, more importantly, the power of Love and inner guidance in genuine healing. This eventually led her to dedicated study and practice of A Course in Miracles (ACIM).  In this video Cay shares some of her experiences hearing Jesus and applying ACIM principles in prison settings.

How to release desires – Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM

In 2019, a Voice began dictating

Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM – A Message for ACIM Students (JANC ACIM),

a practical guide for learning to hear Jesus’ Voice and be guided by him to miracles. Miracles occur at the level of desire.

The message is a potent reminder that Jesus must guide all miracles and that everyone can learn to hear his voice. Over time, her own uncompromising application of forgiveness, as taught by Jesus in
ACIM, JANC ACIM, and the

Miracle Worksheet,

led to a direct spiritual awakening, experienced as pervasive Joy and marked by clarity, inner freedom, and fearlessness.

As the Buddha said, “Desirelessness is nirvana.”

Through extensive research into Helen Schucman’s (the scribe of ACIM) original notes, she discovered that the miracle principles that Jesus taught her and contained in JANC ACIM, the Miracle Worksheet, Light Circles, the 90-Day Program with Jesus, and the JANC Ministry Program are identical to those Jesus taught Helen and Bill for effective miracle working over fifty years ago. However, for the most part, some of the essential elements of effective miracle working are not specifically described in the FIP ACIM Blue book edition.  Further, she found that effective miracle working as guided by Jesus and recorded by Helen in her notes, is for the most part, absent from teachings offered by the wider ACIM community today.

She teaches from lived experience rather than theory, providing encouragement to those called to awakening through forgiveness, inner listening, and communion with the Inner Voice for God. She teaches that everyone has the power to hear Jesus’ Voice and be guided to wholly joyous in THIS lifetime.

Her work highlights ACIM effective miracle working practice exactly as Jesus taught Helen Schucman and Bill Thetford, as documented in Helen’s notes. She clarifies how these teachings deliver what mystical Christianity, Advaita/Hinduism, Ramana Maharshi, Buddhism, Jungian depth psychology, and contemplative traditions all point toward: the release of subconscious desires required for the unification of consciousness and an unbroken state of Joy. She offers a clear and precise explanation of what awakening is — and what, exactly, blocks it. She is an ordained minister and president of the Joining in Light Devotional Center, a non profit that extends these teachings worldwide. She presents retreat programs worldwide including at the Miracle Retreat Center in San Juan Cosala, Mexico.

She developed Facilitated Transcendent Function (FTF) — a method that can be used by students of awakening, therapists, and coaches for eliciting and releasing subconscious desires.

This includes instructions for addressing resistance — the hidden secondary gain (beliefs) that make desires seem valuable.

She holds an M.S. in Physiology and, prior to coaching, spent twenty-five years in sales, marketing, and executive business development roles within biotechnology companies. Given her scientific training and thus reliance on “facts and figures for truth”, it took awhile before she was willing to follow Jesus/the Voice for Truth fully. Yet this background helps her understand the challenges many students face in the transition from “the world” to Awakening to truth.

Jesus told Cay: “The only thing you can be sure of in this world is that I am here to lead you out of it.“
